DVR 16 Entrées DS-7216HVI-SH Hikvision

HIKVISION DS-7216HVI-SH offers WD1 (960 x 576) recording at 8 fps (each channel), 4CIF/2CIF recording at 10 fps, or CIF/QCIF recording at 25 fps. The local recording and network transmission uses H.264 compression that provides good image quality with relatively small bandwidth and disk space consumption.
Thanks to the WD1 (960x576px) resolution, the DVR ensures increased image quality of the video footage from 650 TVL (700 TVL B/W) cameras (compared with D1/4CIF DVRs). It is connected with the number of effective pixels in such cameras, 976x582. Common D1(4CIF) DVRs with recording resolution of 704x576 cannot save the full detail provided by the cameras.
A new menu of the DVR has been designed in a manner that helps everyone, even novice users, navigate and make changes to the settings. Both the layout of commonly used functions and graphic design meet the highest current standards. Support for Google Chrome, Opera and Safari web browsers eliminates the need for installing/using ActiveX controls.
Browsing the archives locally, the user can simultaneously play them back from all 8 channels. To quickly localize the interesting moment/period, the video records are presented on timelines (24 hours). The playback can be started just by clicking on a point on a timeline. "Smart search" function allows for finding moments with movement in a defined area of an image in order to analyze vital events.
HIKVISION DVRs in IP networks can be controlled via iVMS 4000 or IVMS 4200 software. More on the software and configuration of the devices can be found here. The iVMS 4000 utility can remotely manage up to 50 DVRs. The user accounts can have different access/management rights, from the highest level of "administrator" to individually limited "guest" levels.
